"I Was Bored Before I Even Began…"

Hello World,

I've got a little update to make with some status stuff and to clear some things up:

First, I'd like to thank anyone who ever read this. I never promoted this blog much at all, but I've had more than one of my friends who I hadn't seen in a while get in touch with me and say "Yo, hurry up with Chrono Casanova." I appreciate that sort of feedback and encouragement a great deal, and we really appreciate knowing that there's interest in our ideas.

Anyway, let's get into what's currently throttling our little fugue known as Chrono Casanova before it gets off the ground. I share a significant portion of the responsibility as the writer, and I've had some serious writer's block. I have a notepad full of cool ideas for use in media res, but no solid intro or concrete plot direction. I have a tendency to write seriously and will have to revise, adding jokes and making the comic comical later. Also, I've been in a cast on my dominant hand all month. Yeah, that sucks as much as it sounds like it does.

Also, Johnny has a heavy load on him right now, with night school and work on top of some serious issues with his family that are really filling up his plate. I've barely heard from him much this month, and I just got to speak with him for the first time in a while tonight. He's stressed, but staying afloat, and hopefully his situation will improve in the near future. Unfortunately for all of us, no Johnny means no art, and no art means no comic. No Johnny is like No Laughter or No Birthday Cake or No Loitering. It disenfranchises minorities and makes my jokes even more confusing. Hah. Did you see what I did there?

With this said, I hope to be able to return to you in the near future with some story work, some art, a readership poll (hah), just some sort of actual content. In the mean time, you'll have to make do with this, the magical link that will automatically start your weekend right.

Thank you all again for keeping up with our not-quite comic, and hopefully we'll be able to reward well your patience, understanding, and eccentricity in the near future!

Love,

Cameron.
