(I'm sooo lonely…)
Jonathan is a student at Le Cordon Bleu Dallas, and feels very proper in his Chef's uniform, even though he thinks the hat looks stupid. His biggest culinary inspiration is Gordon Ramsay, which is funny, because Cameron is actually the Scottish part of the duo. Jonathan is a talented visual artist, and one of the few people capable of understanding the unrefined, raw weirdness Cameron puts out. He will also totally bust your ass at HoN, so go on and dip, ya heard? He also just recently corrected me to indicate that his biggest inspiration is actually Anthony Bourdain, and that he is currently too busy busting ass at Starcraft 2: Beta for much other ass-busting. Sorry, kids.
Speaking of Scottishness, Cameron actually came up with the idea that is becoming this comic while telling Jonathan about something he did that was very Scottish the evening prior. Ask him nice and he'll tell you about it sometime.
Cameron and Jonathan met over the summer one year while spending time with Cameron's sister and her crazy friends, some of whom knew Jonathan. After meeting and getting to know each other, they began to bond over shared interests and hobbies; such as classic video games, experimental music, the sardonic and the ironic, a deep appreciation of Bathos, and the application of the prior to Social Issues to at least get a laugh out of a society against progress.
Cameron and Jonathan correspond online to write and draw (what is becoming) the comic, so this project is a living example of how telecommunications technology has already changed your world. Cameron is an amateur writer of sorts with a bizarre sense of humor, although he would describe himself as a "hyperliterate fan of language." He will try very hard not to write too many parts of the comic in French. Jonathan likes to draw and has wanted to do a comic forever. He has been waiting for a golden brain pearl to drop out of Cameron for some time now, who has never before been able to come up with a good premise for a short form, serialized comic… Let's hope that's a pearl, am I right guys? Eh?
